One of the 2007 winners,Erasmo Romero III, produced a short news segment about the Tabloid Witch Awards. This segment aired on Sunset Stripped, which is produced at the Art Institute of Los Angeles. Sunset Stripped airs prime time on Los Angeles channel 36 and on Santa Monica City TV Channel 16.
Romero's news segment features an interview with Tabloid Witch Awards founder and director, Thomas M. Sipos.
In 2008, Romero cast Sipos in his short film, The Ancient Law. Sipos looks a lot less stiff in the role of King Gutierrez (clip below), than in the above Sunset Stripped news segment.
