Tabloid Witch Awards

Hollywood Investigator

Communist Vampires

Entries are now being accepted. Deadline is September 30, 2008. This means we must receive your film by September 30th.

It's never too early to enter. Paul Carty's The Kooky Kastle arrived just after the 2005 deadline. It was held over for the 2006 contest -- and won an Honorable Mention.

It's never too late to enter. The Crypt Club arrived days before the 2007 deadline -- and won Best Dramatic Horror Short film.

At this point, it looks like the 2008 Tabloid Witch films will screen at the Santa Monica Public Library's beautiful Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium sometime around Halloween. It's also possible that we may return to Loscon for Thanksgiving Day weekend. We hope so, as both are very attractive venues.

The Tabloid Witch Awards remains proud to run a No Entry Fee contest to struggling filmmakers, and to showcase their work free to the public.
